A few words about Pete Emmett
Comedian, After Dinner Speaker, Compere & Comedy writer
Having entered planet earth at the Royal Naval hospital in Gibraltar, I spent my early years alongside the renowned barbary apes on the famous rock.
It was a big wrench to leave for the cosmopolitan lights of Halifax in West Yorkshire, but the apes soon got over it. I still get postcards from a couple of them to this day!
My childhood was a happy one, all I wanted to do was have fun and laugh with my friends and family. To this day that is all I still want to do.
Making people laugh is a fantastic and very humbling feeling. To see people smiling and forgetting their troubles is priceless.
This website is designed to show you some of the things I can do, and hopefully, I can come along to your special event and give you a night to remember.

“Pete is a hilarious comedian who I have seen in action on many occasions. He is a very likeable and talented young man who can alter his act to suit the audience, a rare talent indeed. His ‘This is your life’ for me was so funny but also very moving and something I’ll always remember. It’s nice to listen to a comedian who can make people laugh without being rude or offensive”.
